2025年7月3日，美國國會通過了川普總統主導的《一攬子美麗法案》（One Big Beautiful Bill），這是一項涵蓋稅收與預算的龐大法案。該法案在參議院以51票對50票險勝通過，副總統J.D.范斯投下決定性的一票，眾議院則以218票對214票通過。

法案內容包括約4.5兆美元的減稅政策，延續並擴大2017年川普時代的稅改成果，同時增加邊境安全與國防開支，對移民拘留與執法投入前所未有的預算。然而，法案也大幅削減醫療補助（Medicaid）、老人醫療保險（Medicare）與糧食券等社會福利，預估未來十年將有超過千萬人失去醫療保障。

The "One Big Beautiful Bill" Has Passed

On July 3, 2025, the U.S. Congress passed President Donald Trump’s sweeping legislative package known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” The bill narrowly cleared the Senate by a 51–50 vote, with Vice President J.D. Vance casting the tie-breaking vote, effectively passing the House by a margin of 218–214.

The legislation includes approximately $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, permanently extending key provisions from Trump’s 2017 tax law, and introduces new deductions and savings incentives. It also significantly increases spending on border security and defense initiatives, allocating record funding to immigration enforcement and detention facilities.

However, the bill slashes funding for Medicaid, Medicare, food assistance (SNAP), and other safety-net programs—potentially leaving over 10 million Americans without health coverage over the next decade. It also rolls back tax incentives for clean energy, marking a sharp turn away from previous climate initiatives.

While Republicans hailed it as a “historic win,” Democrats fiercely opposed the bill. Polls show that over 60% of Americans disapprove of the legislation, citing its social costs and negative impact on the national deficit.

Trump is expected to sign the bill into law on July 4, 2025, branding it as a major legislative victory during his return to office.
