華亞裔要團結

Asian Americans Must Unite
In this time of uncertainty and transformation, we—Chinese and Asian Americans—carry the weight of history and the urgency of the present. From the surge in anti-Asian hate during the pandemic to the long-standing marginalization within social systems, we are reminded time and again: only through unity can we emerge from the shadows, raise our voices, and fight for the dignity and rights we rightfully deserve.
“Asian Americans Must Unite” is more than a slogan. It is a mission passed down through generations. Our ancestors crossed oceans, labored with bare hands, built Chinatowns, founded newspapers, and started businesses. Their steps were heavy, but their will was unwavering. They laid the foundation for our presence and progress in American society today.
Now, it is our turn to carry that legacy forward. We must make our voices heard and participate fully in every sphere—education, media, politics, and the economy. We must lift up our communities while forging solidarity with other Asian groups and communities of color. We must show the world that Asian Americans are not a silent minority, but a resilient, intelligent, and vital force of conscience and contribution.
Unity means support. Unity means embracing our differences while working toward a shared future. From anti-hate rallies to the power of our vote, from community forums to the rising awareness among our youth—unity is already taking shape, and it is already changing our future.
Let us never forget: we are not guests in this country. We are builders, participants, and truth-tellers. Our stories deserve to be heard. Our histories deserve to be recorded. Our dreams deserve to be realized.
Asian Americans must unite—for our families, for our culture, for justice and dignity, and for a future where the next generation can walk proudly in the light of freedom and equality.
