The Chicago Chinese News, a
subsidiary newspaper of Southern News Group, Houston, Texas, has
opened its Times Center offices in Chicago, Illinois. This marks
a new big step in our journey toward our new destination.
Times Center will not only house the operations of the Chicago
Chinese News, but will also?be where the new Jun Yin
Cultural?Center will be established, using our mother's name.
This center will also sponsor local community activities to
promote culture and other social events, and to benefit the
community in many other ways.
Southern News Group is now entering?its 30th year in business.
We are witnessing a lot of changes in the U.S. society,
especially in the new generation of new immigrants. This
directly impacts all of the American society.
Chicago is now one of the most important cities in the country.
Times Center will definitely become an important part of this
great city. We promise to continue serving the community
for many years to come. |
